It’s been a while, and by while I mean over a decade since I’ve blogged (queue feeling like a washed millennial) BUT I’ve never been so excited to truly connect with y’all and write what’s on my heart + share stories I hope will uplift, entertain and empower you – basically I’ll keep falling flat on my face so you don’t have to.
The biggest update is I’m ready for baby number 2 – my mind is telling me no, but my body…my body is telling me yes, and Philip said of course you’d pick the absolute worst time to ‘be ready’.
So when I sit with it, it only takes about 2 minutes to realize it just doesn’t feel possible (which breaks my heart) because between having a super zoomie 3 year old, and two start up businesses I barely have the time or bandwidth as is.
That’s why this year’s goal is to go full throttle, balls to the walls as one may say, work harder than I ever have to get me to a place of being able to take more time off, or simply have more day to day flexibility – and I feel like you might feel the same?
Maybe it’s not a baby, but it could be that travel bucket list, a new hobby you’ve been wanting to take up or simply you just want more time to look after you. So wanna be my accountability buddy?

Other life updates…. y’all the home reno on our ‘forever home’ is in the toilet, so much shit has gone down but that’ll make for some ‘don’t do what I did advice’. And then my goal with Self Funding is to convert to a non-profit and have the products raise money for affordable in-person female empowerment events and Saltair, thank the Lord, is the one thing that’s going better than I ever could have dreamt.
Oh and I’m back on Youtube – which has also been far too long – but I’ve finally found the sweetest Youtube manager who is editing and posting up videos for me because the thought of a whole other platform to manage was such a huge obstacle, plus it’s ok to not be able to do it all!
And I am learning how to balance the tug of war in my mind between mom life, work life and me time so that’s the update – still perfectly imperfectly living my life and excited to be here with you connecting on a deeper level again.
